Betta Buy Bakers is the longest standing Buying Group for the Australian Baking Industry.

 

The Company was formed in 1989 by a group of bakery owners with 16 members and has since grown steadily to the point where it now has a substantial number of bakers, pastry cooks and hot bread shops in its membership list. The Buying Group's strength comes from it's combined  volume and ability to pay the accounts on time. 

 

There is a ONCE OFF JOINING FEE with the group gaining its primary income through Supplier Rebates. These are given by the suppliers for ease of administration and prompt payment of accounts. 

 

The company deals with a number of suppliers to the food industry. Prices for products are negotiated with suppliers on a regular basis with special deals often available from major suppliers. While there is no compulsion on members to deal with the preferred group of suppliers, the more transactions that are group based the stronger the buying power of the group becomes.
